I just want to take a moment to thank you for being my MRI technician. You’re IV was the least painful and the quickest healing I’ve ever experienced. You were good-humored, upbeat and relaxed for 8:30 am, dissipating my stress level, and I appreciate the (albeit strange hospital) slippers you brought to keep my feet warm for the duration of the MRI.
I hope you are my technician again in February when I return for my next scan.
A few days ago I had my 3 month check-up MRI. And I’m happy to say that it was a clean scan!
My least favorite part of every scan – and the part I tend to block out and forget about – is the IV for the contrast. But my technician, Roland, was amazing. It was minimally painful going in, and was nearly healed by the time I talked to my doctor – only an hour later. Not only could I immediately take off the large hot pink bandage, also my arm wasn’t sore AT ALL! An MRI miracle!
I wish I could request Roland all the time now. As if I’m making a hair cut appointment, scheduling it with my particular stylist who knows my preferences and who I’ve built a rapport. My arm would certainly thank me every time if I could make sure my appointment fit with his availability.
I suppose for now I’ll make do with my thank you note. But I will have to investigate this tech request further!
